Prophethood and Messengership progressed gradually, reaching their peak and culminating in completion. This fulfillment of the mission and perfection of prophecy forms the foundation of Muhammad’s excellence. The greatest manifestation of the completion of Messengership is that no other messenger achieved the dominance of God’s religion through their call, propagation, organization, struggle, and striving—except Muhammad, the Messenger of God. Every prophet was a caller, a proclaimer, a teacher, and a guide. However, Muhammad, the Messenger of God, was not merely a caller, a proclaimer, a witness, a bearer of glad tidings, an exemplar, or a caller to God, but the one who actually established God’s religion.
This lecture emphasizes the value of sufficiency over abundance. It highlights that having limited resources, but being content and self-reliant, is preferable to having plenty while being heedless and dependent on others. The core message is that fulfilling basic needs with dignity is superior to living a life of extravagance and reliance on external support. True well-being lies in avoiding debt and maintaining independence, even with modest means. Contentment and self-sufficiency bring peace of mind and protect one from humiliation.
This lecture discusses the acceptance of repentance (tawbah) in extreme circumstances, such as terminal illness or imminent death. It clarifies that the door of repentance remains open until the final moments of life, but genuine repentance requires sincere, heartfelt emotion, not merely ritualistic recitation. The speaker emphasizes that denying someone the opportunity for repentance is inappropriate, as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) indicated its availability until death. The discussion also touches on the consequence of entering a state of unconsciousness, suggesting it may preclude the opportunity for repentance.
This lecture emphasizes dedicating one’s God-given eloquence and knowledge solely to the explanation and propagation of the Quran. It cautions against utilizing these gifts for personal financial gain or worldly pursuits. The speaker highlights that the best among people are those who learn and teach the Quran, understanding and conveying its message to others. True benefit lies in seeking and sharing religious knowledge.
Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani emphasized that true power and provision come solely from Allah. Nothing possesses inherent efficacy; fire cannot burn, water cannot drown, poison cannot kill, or anything benefit without Allah’s will. Reliance should be placed entirely on Allah, not on worldly means or intermediaries. The lecture stresses complete trust in Allah for all needs and outcomes.
This lecture explains that on the Day of Judgement, a manifestation of Allah will occur, but only those with faith will be granted this divine vision. The Quran states that disbelievers will be veiled on that day, unable to witness this manifestation reserved for the believers. This vision is a special blessing for the faithful, inaccessible to those who rejected faith.
