True *tasbeeh* is the silent testimony of creation to its perfect Creator, a being free from all flaws, weakness, and dependence.

The observance of fasting on the 9th and 10th of Muharram is a recommended practice, not obligatory. This practice originated when the Prophet Muhammad learned that the Jews of Medina fasted on the 10th of Muharram to commemorate their deliverance from Pharaoh. The Prophet stated that the Muslims have a greater right to Moses than the Jews, and thus instructed his companions to fast on the 9th and 10th of Muharram instead, to differentiate their practice. This was done even before Ramadan fasting was made obligatory. The intention was to establish a distinct practice, fasting for two days instead of one.

The Quran’s compilation involved both a chronological (نزولی) and the current (مصحف) arrangement. The earliest verses revealed were from Surah Al-Alaq, followed by Surah Al-Qalam, parts of Surah Al-Muzzammil, Surah Al-Mudaththir, and then Surah Al-Fatiha. The current arrangement begins with Surah Al-Fatiha, followed by Surah Al-Baqarah, revealed in Medina. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) guided the scribes in arranging the verses as they were revealed, ensuring the final compilation was also divinely guided. This process of arrangement and compilation was a divine act, directed by God through His Messenger.

Humans are born equal, possessing inherent dignity regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or social status. This equality is a fundamental principle, as highlighted by Allama Iqbal. Differences in status arise from acquired qualities like knowledge and piety, not from birth. True honor stems from devotion to God and righteous conduct, not from inherited characteristics. The Quran emphasizes that superiority is based on *taqwa* (piety), not on arbitrary distinctions like race or lineage. This concept rejects all forms of discrimination and promotes a society based on justice and merit.
