793 - AD DUHA (Ayat# 01-11) surah end
The initial stages of life are often marked by hardship and trial, and the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was no exception. Experiencing both the loss of his parents at a young age and periods of difficulty, he was consistently supported and guided by Allah. This support manifested in various ways, from providing for his needs to instilling a love for him in the hearts of others, such as his grandfather Abdul Muttalib, his uncle Abu Talib, and his guardian, his father’s brother. The Quran highlights this divine care, emphasizing that Allah did not abandon or disapprove of the Prophet, but instead, promised a better future after times of hardship. These periods of difficulty were not signs of displeasure, but rather a part of his training and a testament to Allah’s enduring favor. The concept of *ilmu yajid*—the knowledge gained through hardship—is crucial, as is the importance of extending support to orphans and those in need, mirroring the compassion shown to the Prophet in his youth.
