Any practice that claims to follow the Prophet without enacting it is fraudulent and creates a distinction between truth and falsehood. True adherence to the Prophet is demonstrated through practical application of his teachings.

This belief, tragically prevalent amongst some communities claiming Abrahamic lineage, manifests as attributing offspring to God. The argument posits that just as offspring inherit traits from parents, a divine 'offspring' would necessarily share God's attributes, thereby equaling God. This concept fundamentally contradicts the absolute uniqueness and transcendence of God, and is a severe transgression. It represents the ultimate in associating partners with God, exceeding even the worship of idols.

True worship begins with obedience, but its essence is love. Obedience is the visible form, while love is the underlying spirit. Complete obedience to Allah involves total submission at all times. The path to Allah's obedience is through obedience to His Messenger, Muhammad (peace be upon him). One must strive to reach a level of devotion where the Prophet is more beloved than one's parents and children, and all of mankind. This devotion is a prerequisite for true faith. Without this level of love for the Prophet, all other actions are meaningless.
